This years Dancing Dads have chosen two local charities to raise funds for which are Home Start Garioch and the British Heart Foundation Aberdeen.

Homestart Garioch is a charity based in Inverurie provide support to young children and parents in need. Volunteers visit homes on a weekly basis to offer practical and emotional support to families , which include playing with the children, helping with cooking, going on outings to the park, shopping, helping with behavior and taking time to listen. Homestart Garioch are always in need of support and appreciate all that is given.

British Heart Foundation Aberdeen is a charity who have helped close family and friends of our Dancing Dads, particularly over the past festive period. Among the group, there have been two friends and a brother who experienced heart attacks at the tail end of 2021, who were all saved by stents. This is a chosen charity as they would like to continue their support and thanks to the British Heart Foundation in helping those in need and continue to save more lives.
