Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We aim to host a dance showcase as part of "Homegrown Festival" at Battersea Arts Centre in the spring of 2019!
This well known, well loved venue rarely has the opportunity to engage with the dance community - we know that with our experience in teaching and performing, and connection to the dance community in south London and beyond, we can encourage more dance opportunities within this arts hub, giving more of our community access to rehearsal and performance space, opportunities to network with other creatives and enriching the relationship of this space in its community.
We hope to invest in our development as dance creatives, as well as invest in a variety of creatives who are working at a community and a professional level by providing some space to develop their work, and a platform to share their creations.
We will reach youth in schools, those in dance training, those who are beginning to pursue dance as a career, and those who are established in the sector and looking to feed back into the community.
