This summer I am planning on going to Uganda to help out within the KISS community. KISS (Kiddies Support Scheme) Charity, which since forming in 1995 has been supporting vulnerable children in Uganda. The charity helps children to access education and equipping them with skills and knowledge to allow them to build a better future for themselves, their families and their communities.

Since joining the John Henry Newman School 7 years ago I have always enjoyed taking part in the fundraising events for this amazing charity and this trip will be a wonderful opportunity to see exactly where the money raised is spent and the difference it has made. One of the main objectives of the trip is to fund and take part in projects which benefit the KISS community such as helping with the construction of new homes and visiting health clinics.

Travelling to Uganda to be directly involved in this amazing charity comes at a considerable cost, I am therefore appealing for support to allow me to fund this trip. Any donations will go directly to the charity and will help pay for many things including essential vaccines, mosquito nets, materials to construct homes and of course education. I would be so very grateful for any donations however small.

Some other upcoming fundraising events I have planned are at Airspace in Stevenage who have generously allowed me to use their facilities for an hour and a half and i'm also planning a party at my home which will be on a ticket basis and will include food and drinks for the evening.

As well as the above I might have some smaller fundraising activities which I will keep you updated on.
