I've raised £6000 to Help Darek survive financially through his waiting time for kidney transplantation x

Darek, Dario, Gonzo, Sid. Most importantly - Son. Brother. Uncle. A friend. Young, active lad, friendly to the whole world. Met by many of us on the Wolf Trail 🐺 Recently, he celebrated his 35th birthday. Over the Bank Holiday Weekend he wandered around Digley Reservoir...
And today... Today, he lies hooked up to a hemodialysis machine... And his life will never be the same again... Darek was admitted to Rotherham Hospital on Tuesday, May 30, with a swollen foot, an arrhythmic heartbeat and breathing issues. After a quick diagnosis, he was transferred to Sheffield Kidney Institute. His kidneys work at 4%.
From that moment, the fight for his life and health has began. His body is full of toxins and very weak. No system in his body works on 100%. A kidney transplant is the only one rescue. He needs 3.5-5 hours of hemodialysis three times a week and a handful of drugs daily to stabilize his body in order to survive until the time of obtaining donors. His heart and his whole body are fighting.
At the moment, there is no option of returning to work or focusing on basic everyday activities. Darek needs our support, mental and also financial one, to easily stay afloat and wait for the transplant.
There is a hope in all of us for him to return to the trail.
We know there are many of us here ♥️ able to help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering this request for support.
