I've raised £10000 to help Darjeeling Oxygen Aid

We are all aware of the terrible situation in India at the moment, where many people are struggling to fight Covid-19 due to bed shortages, inadequate vaccine supplies and a lack of oxygen. Darjeeling, in the West Bengal area of India, is an area that is also affected by the monsoons, which is creating further challenges. The usual journey of around 3 hours to replenish Oxygen tanks for local patients, is now taking even longer and at times proving to be impossible, due to road blockages and landslides. An emergency Covid Hub is being set up by the Edwards Foundation in Darjeeling, where beds will be available and Oxygen will be provided for anyone that requires medical assistance. We are desperately seeking funding so that we can help the foundation purchase Oxygen concentrators to help save as many lives as possible...
An Oxygen concentrator costs almost £600 and so your donations will make a real difference and help us to achieve our target. Any additional funds raised once we exceed our target will be directed to other charities at the discretion of the trustees.
