Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Hello and welcome to my fundraising page for the 2019 Virgin London Marathon! After a little bit of persuading I have decided to get up off the sofa, put the telly on pause, put on my trainers and raise some money for charity whilst running the London Marathon (again!!)
I am honoured to run on behalf of such an amazing charity.
If you would like to support me in raising money for this very deserving charity I would be extremely grateful. (Alternatively, please come and cheer me on and meet me at the finish line - I hope!!)
Variety improves the lives of children and young people throughout the UK who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged. Variety provides coaches and bespoke wheelchairs, specialist, sensory and recreational equipment for use in the home, school, children’s hospitals and youth centres and creates memorable experiences through “Variety Great Days Out”.
Any donation whatsoever would be greatly appreciated so I can continue to support Variety. X
My charitable work is underpinned by enterprising fundraising and my supporters’ commitment.I know that, enthused by the belief in the transformational power of people working together, you can help me make a positive difference. Work with me to transform the lives of young people. There are so many ways to help and discover the Variety effect that is at the heart of everything they do.

About the fundraiser
I have been a keen runner for many years and I have run mostly half marathon's in my time. I was privileged to run the London Marathon three years ago and the buzz of the crowds cheering me on got me through the pain.
