My mum has been left windowed in Spain after my dad died in the UK. The Spanish government now want €8000 tax on a house they will not allow her to sell,she cannot afford to live there now as her pension will not cover living expenses, I have managed to get €3500 together and am trying to raise the rest as quickly as possible because the Spanish government will keep adding interest to the amount making it even more impossible for us to raise the money.
The Spanish government put embargoes on the houses after the builders went into liquidation making them unsellable.
