Story
My daughter, Lorien age 10, is not what you would call an ordinary child. Though very young, she has a view of her own on how the world should work and she stands by that view.
That's exactly why she decided to pick up fresh herbs from our garden, put them in plastic bags and knock on every door she could find to sell them and raise £5 for Bettridge school.
Her choice of school is not random. My son, Sam, goes there and he has benefited enormously by all the great work that school and its teachers do daily.
I was overwhelmed to see her put all this work and time into this and I decided that I have a duty to do the same. Instead of knocking on doors, I set up this cause to help me and raise as much money as I can for the school.
All I ask of you is to match her donation. As she says, £5 is not a lot but it is something and I know it will make a difference.
