Story

I'm now targeting £5,000 to help local Driving Instructor Darren Edwards. This means more % of the donations make it to the family.

Shortly after their daughter, Rhianna’s18th Birthday party last Saturday night, Joanne had an accident at home and is sadly in an induced coma at Salford Royal. Darren and the family have been constantly at her bedside ever since. We are all hoping and praying that Joanne can come through this. The whole family have worked passionately, raising funds for local and national charities over the years supporting many worthwhile causes and are well respected in the community. They now need our support.

Many of you will have seen Darren driving around Tyldesley teaching local young people to drive. As you can imagine, he’s had to cancel all his lessons and let his clients down.

We respectfully request that if you can contribute to this fund, Darren can concentrate all his time with Joanne and not worry about work for a while.

I’m sure that those of you that know him would also like to send the family a message of support along with whatever you can donate.

Thank you on behalf of all the family.
