Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit my page and read my story.

In July 2017, I have been given the opportunity by my school to travel to Nepal for three weeks in order to help rebuild the livelihood of people suffering from the aftermaths of recent earthquakes there.

There is a range of projects and tasks that I will take part in, including painting murals in schools, constructing play areas for children or rebuilding community infrastructure. This experience will allow me to see Nepal from a local point of view - a once in a lifetime opportunity. Meanwhile, I also get the liberty of being able to aid people less fortunate than myself.

During this trip, I will travel throughout Nepal meaning that I will have to trek up the mountains of the Himalayas. This will also be an challenge for me as I am asthmatic.
