Alhamdullilah, by the Grace of Allah Ta'Ala we've embarked on an exciting project to build a new Masjid/Madrasah/Dawah and Community Centre in Nottingham (the first purpose built of its kind in the city). The total cost is expected to be £2.5m.

History and Requirements

For the past 30 years we've used a semi-detached house for prayers and are in desperate need for greater and additional facilities for the multi-ethnic Muslim community of the city, estimated at over 30,000. As this number rises, the demand for prayer, education and social facilities increases too.

The Centre, In'sha'Allah will be the core focus to meet the needs of this and future generations, essential in nurturing and educating young Muslims in Islamic values, and creating a peaceful and positive environment. In addition, we're also committed to opening the Centre to and integrating with the non-Muslim community, through offering various socially impacting activities.

We are currently 10 months into the build, with ongoing works (in preparation for a basement), and with the main steel structure programmed to be assembled on site by the end of April. The Centre will extend over 3 floors and offer a sympathetic blend of contemporary and traditional features. Therefore, we humbly invite you to support/contribute to this Noble cause, in order to complete The House of Allah Almighty which is much needed in the community.

Allah Ta'Ala says in the Noble Qur'an: Those who spend their wealth (in Allah's cause) by night and by day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve. (Surah Al-Baqarah:274).
