I've raised £1000 to help positively promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity through motorsport.

Hi all,
As some of you, at the start of lockdown in March 2020, I started running to help with my mental health.
What started off as gentle runs turned into regular 5kms, and throughout the Summer, running 10km events, as well as joining a local running group.
A few weeks ago, I ran my first 15km, and now, on October 10th, I will be taking part in my first half marathon... eek!
This half marathon though will be a little bit special for me, as it takes place at the home of British motor sport, Silverstone.
To give me extra motivation, I've opened up this Just Giving page, with all proceeds raised going to Racing Pride.
Why Racing Pride? Racing Pride is an innovative movement developed in collaboration with Stonewall UK to positively promote LGBTQ+ inclusivity through motorsport.
The movement is close to my heart, as someone who came out as bisexual in 2016. I've been following Racing Pride's activities since the organisation was set up, and the more that can be done to help LGBTQ+ people both inside, and outside, of motor sport, the better.
To find out more about Racing Pride's activities, head to their website: http://racingpride.com/
On October 10th, I will be 'Running for Racing Pride'. :)
