I've raised £1000 to Raise much needed funds for a friends sister who has stage 4 cancer.

For many years I've applied and failed to get a ballot place for the London Marathon. This year I have been lucky enough to secure a place and although a little nervous I cant wait to cross that start line. (& finish line...)
Having a ballot place means there is no pressure on me to raise huge funds for a big charity. It also means I can help a smaller, but just as important cause.
I've made a decision to try and help out a friends sister, Lisa Wilde. She was diagnosed in 2020 and is now at stage 4. She is in need of innovative treatment at a private clinic in Valencia at a huge cost. Although she has raised a lot of the money already, more funds are needed for flights, accommodation etc.
Lisa, and her family (husband and 4 young boys) will use all of the money raised to give her the best chance of the cancer responding to the treatment. I know that Jo, her sister, and all the family are so grateful for everything people are doing for them.
Lets help her....
It will be the thing that helps me round the 26.2 miles in London on April 23rd.
I know that things are difficult for everyone right now but any money you can spare for this family would be amazing and will help push me round a little quicker!
Many Thanks - Dave x
