    Story

Following a short illness our esteemed director and colleague Dave Chumbley died suddenly on Tuesday evening, August 22nd 2017.

Dave was a great man, a world class agent, whose dedication to his Artists was unmatched. We are extremely lucky to have been touched by his unique humour, exceptional kindness and infectious joie de vivre.

We have been inundated with requests from many people within the Music Business to create some form of memorial for Dave. An unexpected opportunity arose to allow him to be buried in the famous Highgate Cemetery in London. This a beautiful and intriguing site, rich in history, architecture, landscape and romance. Very few new plots are available each year and it is therefore rightly fitting that Dave’s final resting place will be in a sold out venue with a rare Access All Areas pass. And it’s not cheap!

So, we are setting up this site to give his friends, colleagues and acquaintances an opportunity to contribute towards the cost of the burial fees, burial plot and headstone . The latter will be erected within twelve to eighteen months after the burial and will provide a lasting memorial to Dave, not just for his family but for all of us.

Your donations are gratefully received. Any donations received in excess of the actual cost of the burial and headstone will be given to Dave’s family for the welfare and further education of his children.

If you would like to leave a message of condolence or submit a treasured Dave Chumbley story and/or a photograph please send it to: DaveChumbleyStories@primarytalent.com
