Story
I would like to share with you a short story about a very special little girl that I can't and haven't stopped thinking about since i heard this.
Recently my niece Ava-Grace Harris was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and it got my brother upset because right away he thought she wouldn't be able to do things little girls do like dancing and even the simplest of thing like walking.
He didn't want her to be held back in life .
She has a special walker to help her when she can walk and has to have a lot of physio to relax her as she's always tensed up .
She is only 2 years old a few months younger than my youngest son teddy.
Until recently we all thought that things were going to get better with finally getting some results back from the doctors to see what could be done to help her condition .
The results showed that she had a growth on her spine that was spreading to her brain and was slowly causing her brain damage.
Unfortunately it is to late to do anything and sadly she doesn't have very long left with us.
It has absolutely devastated the whole family and my little brother my best friend.
The heartbreaking thing that not a lot of people know is this will be the second child he stands to lose as a few years earlier he lost a baby girl who was only 3 days old.
My brother has had to quit work to spend every minute he can with her and I would like to with your help if possible try and raise some money to help make his last memory's with her as magical as they can be.
Again I am sorry to ask but feel I need to do something to help towards the pain and grief he will go through.
All he can do now is wait and I would like to be there for him when he needs me most.
Myself and my sister are organising a sponsored walk up Snowdon on the 30th September dressed as my nieces favourite cartoon characters and if people Would like to sponsor Me it would be very much appreciated and for a cause I hold very dear to my heart.
