Story
Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose
So Jacob now has to receive a long 6 week stint of treatments between the Christie in Manchester and Manchester Childrens' Hospital.
Your donations will help them live as normal a life as possible during this time living away from home, minimising time on motorways and maximising recovery time between sessions for Jacob.
Thank you everyone that has donated so far - you are stars.
I am running the Lakeland 100 on the weekend of the 28th of July - this is a 105 mile circuit of the Lakes from Coniston with 22,495ft of climbing. I get 40 hours to complete it but it will be a hell of a trek.
Training has been good but the recent heat has been tricky - my choice and done in a weekend. Nice to make it mean so much more help Jacob.
My crowd funding page is in addition to Ness and Mark's - nothing will be withdrawn until needed and Mark and Ness will keep you all posted. This unique link for my run just makes it easier to track.
Thank you, Dave
The picture is me and Mark at the 2015 Lakeland 50 - hope to get back running with my mate soon.
