I've raised £1500 to support underprivileged children in Kenya by completing a 24 Hour non-stop Sports Decathlon

Together with our three children (young adults!), Cieran, Cara and Georgia, we will be undertaking a 24 hour non-stop Sports Decathlon in aid of the Derby County Community Trust and African Adventures charities on December 20th/21st.
Every two hours (with the odd break for food and water!!) during Decathlon Day, we'll be looking to complete ten sporting and fun events including a 20 mile cycle ride; a 10km walk; a 10km rowing race; a ten match marathon of both squash and badminton and other activities such as making 100 cup cakes and Christmas decorations.
Derby County Community Trust are once again making the humanitarian journey to one of the poorest suburbs of Nakuru, Kenya to help schools in need of support and 100¹s of children that would love nothing more than your time and attention, and a chance of a decent education.
On Saturday 16th May 2020, Dave for the second time and Helen for the first time, will be setting off on our Kenyan Adventure to:
* Assist with teaching
* Help to develop teaching styles and curriculum
* Help with the feeding programme at the school
* Construct new classrooms
We are looking to raise money for the schools in Kenya. Additionally a percentage of the money raised goes towards Derby County Community Trust which will help sustain their Disability Program which delivers tailored, inclusive sessions throughout Derbyshire for children and adults with physical and mental disabilities.
Thank you for visiting our page and if you can donate any money we will be very grateful no matter how big or small.
Thanks again!
