Story
Our friend and colleague Dave has had some terrible news. After spending his whole life helping others, he now needs our help. Dave joined the Scottish Ambulance Service in 2001 after serving in the British Army for 6 and a half years. He joined the Yorkshire Ambulance Service in 2003, where he met his wife, Sam. They are both serving Paramedics on the front line. Dave is a fantastic bloke, a great Paramedic and has mentored many ambulance staff over the years. Now its time for us to give back to him.
We were saddened to learn that he was diagnosed with Motor Nerones Disease (MND) in June of this year after having symptoms for 12 months. At his most recent assessment we were devestated to hear that he has been diagnosed with rapid bulbar MND. This means his deterioration will be quick not giving him years as previously thought, but months.
We want to raise as much money as possible to help Dave make memories for him and his family to treasure.
Please donate even if its £1 to help us reach our target!
Much love, his 999 family and friends.
