My brother Paul has the aggressive form of MS, and has been suffering with the deteriorating and debilitating symptoms endlessly for as long as I can remember.
Recently through a TV programme he discovered a groundbreaking new stem-cell treatment, and after a lot of work, has been accepted by a Mexican service delivering this treatment. The hope is that his symptoms will stop developing or worsening, and in some cases they actually even remit.
The treatment however has a price tag all in of £45k, which we as a family simply do not have.

Many of our friends and family have been coming together in various amazing ways to raise what they can for Pauls treatment, and I've honestly been very humbled by their efforts and tireless commitment, and so now it's my turn to step up and do something individually for my big bro...
In January 2017, I will be completing an Olympic distance triathlon, which for those of you who know my unfit beer belly physique, know how seriously difficult I'm going to find this challenge... and the big laugh I've just given you is worth a few quid!
However, I do feel genuinely blessed to be able to train my belly off for the next few months, whereas Paul would give anything to be able to swim, ride a bike, or run any distance at all, so every second of the 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run will be completed with that in mind.
My training started 5 weeks ago, and for those of you unfortunate enough to be my FB friend, you will no doubt be bored of the daily updates, but please bare with me, as I simply want you to know how hard I'm working and trying to earn the cash I'm asking you for!
So that's it really, I'm hoping to smash my target and push Paul further along his bigger target, so please, any few pounds really will make every bit of difference!
