I've raised £3000 to support children's mental health charities to help young people through the toughest times in life

My cousin Jess is the most remarkable mum you will ever meet. She lost her husband at Christmas 18 months ago and her children of 5 and 2 at the time lost their daddy. She has been through so much yet is still such a caring person. She has provided memory boxes to other families who have lost a parent.
With everything going on in the world our children and young people need better support. Seeing kids in pain because of loss, abuse, divorce, abandonment, bullying or a hundred other challenges they face is sometimes too much to endure. So alongside supporting Jess I will also be donating to Young Minds who provide help to children & young people.
This year I was due to be attempting my 2nd Ironman race in Barcelona on the 3rd of October. With this cancelled I'm going to be doing my own race round Fife. It is a 2.4 mile swim, 112 miles on the bike, topped off with a marathon to finish. Strava will be the judge and jury on the distance and time and some amazing people will provide support on the day across the 11-13 hours it will take me to complete.
Times are tough for everyone and so I know that asking for donations can be difficult but I am hoping that you will trade off a coffee or a beer for giving a few pounds to some amazing causes
