Pete Darby is running the London Marathon on 21st April to support the Dave Bell Foundation (DBF) which his family member Dave set up in 2018. This will be Pete's second marathon having completed the distance in 2022.

The Dave Bell Foundation support Royhill School in Zimmerman (Kenya) and run a scholarship program to provide education to economically disadvantaged children and youths. To date DBF have provided 48 years of education over 6 years to their scholars, as well as supported Royhill School build two new classrooms, a technology lab and fund a school bus. In addition, they started a joint football program with Royhill in 2023 that will provide free football to the children, with 1 of the coaches being funded through college by DBF, as their first DBF football scholarship.
