I've raised £1000 to help build a monument at the former HMS Vernon to honour those involved in mine warfare, diving and bomb and mine disposal.

My Daughter and I are swimming the Dart 10K on 16th September 2018. While we're at it we would like to raise some money for causes we believe in. I am raising money for the Vernon monument - www.vernon-monument.org.uk. I will be splitting my money raised with Cancer Research. Many thanks, any amount helps.
well we did it in about 3 hours on the dot. Hoping to catch a few more pounds before the just giving page closes. I think I have about £210 here and £300 offline from friends. Hoping to double it to the £1000 within the next week or so.
I am trying to add some pictures but the technology fails me or I fail it.
I particularly enjoyed the Jelly baby stop on the second pontoon, I was ready to do the last 4 miles to Dartmouth but apart from not getting permission I think Suzy had had enough for her first big swim. Great effort.
