My partner Natalie was diagnosed with a brain tumour 6 years ago when she was 37 weeks pregnant with her second child. She is a 44 year old single mother with two beautiful young daughters Harriet 11 and Bridget 6.

She was told at the time that she had a brain tumour and even with surgery there would not be a cure. Bravely she has opted to go down the alternative treatment route, to find a cure for her own tumour , but also a cure for others who have this horrible disease, so hopefully they don't have to go through what Natalie already has. She has been routinely scanned over the 6 years and the tumour has steadily grown, some contrast on a recent scan has appeared and this can be cancer, to confirm this would mean an operation or biopsy, there are huge implications to having either of these operations and the negatives if they don't go to plan are inconceivable.

The point is "Natalie tumour and the type that it is, is terminal there is no cure !". She is still here 6 years without an operation, treating herself and constantly looking at new avenues to find a cure for her tumour. Time and money are against us...........

She is very positive about her condition, never a burden, still a fantastic mum, she doesn't bemoan her situation, just wants a chance to try and improve her own life expectancy and she has already surpassed the norm. It is inspiring to see everyday, it is humbling to be around her, she is a fantastic human being. We are hoping to raise funds to help find a cure, alternative treatments are very expensive and we need your help............
