At Acorn Education Trust, we recognize the profound impact that the rising cost of living has on the children and young people within our schools, as well as their families and the wider community. In response to this pressing need, a dedicated team of staff members from across the Trust is embarking on an inspiring journey: Tour D'Acorn. This one-day, 158km cycle ride will take us to each school within our Trust, traversing from Rowde to Great Wishford and Dilton Marsh to Netheravon. To put this into perspective, the distance we will cover is equivalent to cycling from Trowbridge to Birmingham!

On Friday, 26th June 2026, our cyclists will set off early in the morning from Clarendon Academy in Trowbridge. They will navigate through the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, visiting each of our Trust’s schools before returning back to Clarendon Academy. Given the high temperatures expected that day, we are committed to starting our journey at dawn.

Our team comprises individuals with varying levels of cycling experience, united by a common goal: to raise £4,000 GBP for projects that enhance both academic and extra-curricular experiences for children and young people within Acorn schools.
