Story
As Chairman of Brandon & Byshottles Parish Council, I am taking part in the annual Seaburn Boxing Day Dip to raise funds for Durham St Cuthberts Hospice
The Boxing Day Dip takes place on the wonderful coastline at Seaburn Beach and has become a part of Sunderland's history.
Organised by Sunderland Lions Club it is an occasion for the people of the North East to dress up in all manner of fancy dress, take a dip in the North Sea, raise money for charity and blow the Christmas cobwebs away.
I have agreed to don fancy dress and take the plunge on Boxing Bay morning
Any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.
