    Story

Fairytale Farm is a visitor attraction based in Oxfordshire. This attraction was set up and opened in May 2013 aimed at and designed for disabled children and their families to be able to enjoy a fun filled day out with their childrens needs at the heart of the project. At this time of year the farm is busy preparing for the upcoming season for their many visitors to return but have recently been hit by a theft that has seen their power tools stolen from the workshop and their security system badly damaged. Approximately £3,000 of equipment has been stolen.

Nick and Nicola Laister, whose eldest daughter Olivia has cerebral palsy, decided a number of years ago to acquire some land and create a tourist attraction where disabled children and their families can spend a day out in the countryside enjoying various rural activities on a site where everything is primarily designed around their needs. Their vision was to create the sort of attraction that they would have liked to have visited with their own children, which Olivia could have enjoyed alongside her brothers and sister.

Please read more about Fairytale Farms story and the recent news of this theft on the links below and give whatever you can to ensure these children and their families can continue to enjoy themselves this year. Many thanks to you all.

Good on you Dave for organising this. As you said on Joyland books, for all Nick did for Dreamland, he deserves our help with his wonderful project and this setback.
