1 year agoNovember 2023 - Theo Magongoma has just won the prestigious 2023 Elizabeth Greenfield Award. This comes on top of several successful auditions he did recently, for major roles next year, in both Italian and German opera houses. Held annually, this award honours a trail-blazing Black singer by recognising an outstanding present-day Black singer in the early stages of their international professional operatic career.
