We are a small choir with limited funds. Your donation will enable us to engage 4 professional soloists for our concert on March 29th 2026, when we will be performing works by Purcell, Pergolesi, Bach and Mozart. This will help us to raise the profile of the choir and maybe even attract some more members.

Now that I am partially retired, I have more time to put some of my ideas into action. One such idea is to walk a long distance footpath. So from October 20th to 24th I am going to be walking the first 60 miles of the Wessex Ridgeway

The Wessex Ridgeway is a 137 mile long distance footpath going from Lyme Regis in Dorset to Marlborough in Wiltshire. My intention is to walk the whole path in stages, starting with the section from Lyme Regis to Shillingstone, near Blandford Forum.
If things go well, I might well carry on walking all the way to Norfolk along the Great Chalk Way or Greater Ridgeway that connects up various long distance footpaths all the way from Dorset to Norfolk.
