It was the 1st Christmas I had time off to spend with the kids with out having to work day and night just to pay for it. After my week off i set off to work and noticed my scooter had been stolen. I'm a delivery guy for uber eats and need it to work. I reported it and the police and they gave me 2 options they would recover at a cost or I could recover it when found. naturally i said I would recover as i would rather push it home than pay such a high price that I just did not have.
The police made a mistake and recovered it any way and have it in a lockup. They are demanding £150 plus £10 per day storage and if I don't collect it in 12 days with there demand settled they will crush my bike. I'm still paying the loan on bike and do not have the cash just after Christmas to pay there demands and I can not go to work and earn with out the bike. The police even charged me 15p a min to report the crime and cost more that £15 as I was on hold for a long time.
I need help because if my bike is crushed I will be left with 1500 left to pay and I will be jobless at the same time. I'm loving the pay for justice system we have today... I'm not bothered about the kids? Who stole it. i just want my bike back so I can go back to work and not spend the rest of the year in dept because it got robbed. My mechanic is a good guy and said he would do the repairs until I went back to work and could pay another time but right now I need help just to get the bike out before it gets crushed.

Any help is appreciated for the amount I need is a drop in the ocean compared to what it's going to cost me if I don't raise funds.
