I am Captain of the 16th Newtownabbey Boys' Brigade Company based in the Belfast City Mission's Rathcoole Hall. On the 30th October 24 the officers and boys of the Company Section will take part in a sponsored indoor cycle on behalf of Pulmonary Fibrosis NI & Company Funds. We have chosen this particular charity in memory of Jimmy Balmer, the father of our Old Boys Royce and Kofi Balmer. Jimmy and Karin Balmer took an active interest in the 16th and were very supportive of the Company and we wish to now support a Charity very close to the Balmer Family's heart. In doing so we hope in some small way to help the Research into this terrible disease.
