While writing this story and dealing with Sobriety and coping with my MS I have MANY SYMPTOMS including lack of sensation in much of my body, my right arm, my abdomen and both of my legs. I have balance and gait issues when attempting to stand and walk, I can’t do it.

There are painful and throbbing spasms in both legs, and I have numbness, tingling and burning pain, hypersensitivity in each of these areas, little bladder control, difficulty with digestion, major fatigue mentally and physically.

The effects are devastating with lack of motivation and energy, also heavy depression. I learn to live with the severe brain fog and inability to fully concentrate or live in the here and now and have concentration and memory problems.

I have done the best I could in putting this synopsis together. My place of comfort is in bed as it seems that it is the only place I can deal with this many problems. It’s passed the stage of occasionally feeling this way as it’s progressed to feeling like this permanently that’s (24/7). I use a wheelchair full time to help me move around and I have a succession of Care agencies that send people to help meet my daily needs.

Those with MS who can still walk should be grateful as the time may come if you have progressive MS like myself when walking is a thing of the past and no amount of exercise can change that, as the problem requires knowledgeable specialist doctors to offer invasive brain surgery to help put right some of the inner cerebral damage caused by reflux of blood flow back to the brain.
