The Red and White Army Independent Supporters Group launched a flag display on 13th April 2019. The display in the Roker End celebrates SAFC's proud history aswell as our city's heritage and culture.
The colour and atmoshpere were the result of a lot of hard work from volunteer supporters but none of it is possible without the generosity of the wider fanbase. In our first wave of fund raising we were overwhelmed as donations quickly reached our target.
Since the launch we have received lots of ideas from supporters about what they would like to see in future displays and many volunteers have rallied with the intention of supporting the display at every home game. We would also like to embark on more artwork projects around the whole of the SoL.
Please give what you can and we will get value from every penny. All the ideas for visuals are inspired by fans - please keep the ideas coming.
All money raised will pay for new flags and banners, replacing lost or damaged flags, artwork projects around the stadium and small incidental costs incurred by RAWA's associated activity.
