Weʼve raised £2,185 to Save The Rhino The Dambari Wildlife Trust

    Somerset ! England
Funded on Saturday, 27th August 2016

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Story

The value of rhino horn has become more valuable in recent years than gold, diamonds or cocaine. This has led to large scale, organised poaching particularly in the African rhinos heartland of Southern Africa.

Team Trev are working with Save the Rhino and Marwell Wildlife Park to raise money for anti-poaching patrols for the Dambari Wildlife Trust in Zimbabwe.

Wearing the iconic Save the Rhino costume Team Trev will trek the 130 miles of The Two Moors Way in August. Please help us reach our target in our bid to help Save the Rhino.

Team Trev at the end of their rhino hike across Devon from Wembury to Lynmouth. We have been flabbergasted by people's generosity. We aimed to raise £1000 for rhinos but our total has now topped an amazing £3000. We will keep the Just Giving site open for another couple of weeks in case anyone else wants to give...but a Huge thanks from senior Trev and junior Trev. We love you all.

http://www.devonlife.co.uk/people/watch_out_for_a_rhino_walking_across_devon_s_national_parks_this_summer_1_4593824 Thanks to the fantastic generosity of our Facebook friends we are closing in on the target of £1000....just £15 short. Not a great week for politicians but a great week for rhinos. £300 from the staff quiz for the rhinos plus the above article in Devon Life. Many thanks and much rhino love from Team Trev.
