Kevin Stuart is one of life’s good guys, somebody who has time and a smile for just about anyone he meets. Those who know him, adore him. He’s a much-loved father, husband, son, uncle, friend and colleague, and much more besides.

In the spring of 2023, Kev received the awful news that he had been diagnosed with colon cancer.

Since then he has battled bravely through appointment after appointment, treatment after treatment. He has been unable to work, juggling the pain and the stress on a daily basis yet somehow managing to remain bright and upbeat.

On Easter Sunday, 31 March, we will be holding a fundraising sports day. The aim is first and foremost to show support for our friend, but also to raise money which can help reduce the strain and the stress on not only Kev, but Lynsey and little Ralph too.

There will be a series of events on the day at Bootle Cricket Club, but we also ask that anyone who wishes to support Kev does so through this page.

Let’s show him just how much he is loved, and just how much we are all behind him.
