In June 22 friends of Stalham RBL ordered a memorial bench from a company in Belfast unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the bench was not supplied and it took us 6 months to get our money refunded.

Unfortunately, the original bespoke bench design did not comply to rules and regulation of Benches in Public Places so we have had to redesign it. Due to the cost-of-living crisis the price of materials and manufacturing has increased so we are looking for £500 to obtain the paint, get it painted and installed.

I would like to thank everyone for their generosity in raising the £500.00 requested. The money will go towards galvanising and powder coating the bench which will protect it for years to come.

Any money raised above the amount will not only go towards the installation and preservation of the bench but also to assist members of Stalham RBL to help, aid and honour veterans in our area.
