David Taylor was a kind, generous, loving man who passed away suddenly this time last year, leaving behind his distraught wife Doreen who loved him more than life itself. Both David and Doreen with special needs have fought through lifes challenges together, always wearing smiles and with their heads held high. Their story is not a unique one, but to us, helping Doreen through losing David and seeing how brave and positive she has been has inspired us all. The crematorium plaque fee she needs to pay for Davids memory to be remembered in such a small way is too far from her reach and as her funeral directors, and now her friends, we are fundraising on her behalf so she can see that although he is gone, David will never ever be forgotten. Their love for each other has inspired us and we hope that in some small way this will help Doreen feel that although David is no longer here, he will always be with her.
