I've raised £2000 to build a creche in a community near Polokwane in South Africa to reduce child abuse.

In October I, along with 15 others will be putting the finishing touches to a creche in a small village near Polokwane, that are being built ahead of our arrival - the purpose of these buildings is to provide a safe place for children to go whilst parents work and reduce the horrendous child abuse rates - 57% are abused because they have nowhere safe to go. These two buildings will take 100’s of children off the street and put them into safety aswell as a hot mean every day and somewhere they can keep the innocence of childhood.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to give back to others who are less fortunate than us in the UK, which we all take for granted. Many of the group are mums and we are lucky to have found our Utility Warehouse businesses to allow us to work flexibily around our children so we can be with them after school. These children do not have that luxury and as a result are put in danger and have their innocence taken from them.
By providing these basic facilities our vision is to leave a legacy by creating a 'ripple effect' of change too.
For my part, I am organising a firewalk for upto 50 people, which alone will challenge your self belief of walking 10-12 feet on hot coals. Overcome your fears and break through your own internal barriers.
Please donate generously by giving below or joining me on the firewalk. The original date of September 16th has had to be postponed and a new date and venue (Arlesey Town FC) will be confirmed shortly.
The cost will be £25 ( and raise a minimum of £75) and will include a seminar on how to let go of limiting beliefs and empower you to do this and anything else you want to in your life.
You can book your place by calling me on 07950 003140 and register your interest.
If you'd like to do this but money is a challenge, then agree to raise a minumum of £100 and you can participate for free
