What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Gorleston Library is a very vibrant and key part of our local community. They provide all the usual components a library should provide, but with the support of the Gorleston Library Friends they provide and support new and ongoing initiatives. The staff and friends of the library provide many events throughout the year, both regular events in the form of clubs and one off events referencing local, country and worldwide influences. Information is available by visiting the library or via their facebook page.

1 year agoThe Christmas cake raffle was completed today at the annual Library Christmas fair. Via the JustGiving page and the Raffle at the Christmas fair we have raised over a £100. I will update on actual total for the Raffle when have the figures. There were lots of stalls and other attractions at the fair so other monies were raised to support ongoing events at the Library. Although the JustGiving page will stay open for while please do not donate as the raffle has now been drawn. I look forward to next years Christmas cake raffle.
