This cool aircraft last flew in 1945. During her history, we know she had 36 combat missions, that’s why I’m cycling 36 miles. Volunteer fundraisers are working hard on raising what is needed to rebuild this aircraft, so we can watch her fly again and bring more aviation history to life”

5 years agoHi everyone, yesterday I rode my final miles on the airfield service road at RAF West Hampnett aka Goodwood Motor Circuit. It was windy and tough on some of the circuit but I FaceTimed my mum and she was my cheerleader! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated their money, we have had a few scrapes but mostly a great time. Please keep spreading the word about the Hawker Typhoon and lets get this aircraft in the air again!!

5 years agoHi everyone, woah! that target is awesome! Yesterday, I cycled to RAF Tangmere, the aviation museum, where my grandad was based a long time ago. My other grandad worked for Handley Page as an apprentice engineer. My great grandad flew Lancaster's in WW1. Yesterday, I cycled 7.08 miles and although it was tricky at one point, I did ok and got home safe. Thanks again everyone! Ps do you like my G-TIFY T-shirt??

5 years agoHi everyone, it was really windy at Goodwood today, but I managed 2 circuits and home, so 7.95 miles. Almost half way now with 18.59 miles to go!! Can you see the Aerodrome in my photo? I loved it today, legs are only a bit tired

I’m 11 years old this week. In my family there’s a strong history of aviation, I really like it too. My grandad is a member of the preservation group & during lockdown I had the idea of helping to raise money. I will cycle 36 miles over time on the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Thanku!
