my little girl sienna was born at 26 weeks and weighed 2lbs, she spent the first 96 days of her life on life support at Derbys NICU unit (neo natel intensive care unit), there were so many ups and downs throughout our journey from Sienna having to have eye surgery, having cronic lung disease, to stopping breathing most days, she has a hole in her heart which she'll require surgery on later on in the year, she contracted meningitis, the list was endless but the staff and doctors who work in the NICU unit were amazing, im hoping to raise £1000 so we can supply the unit with a reclinable chair so mums and dads can bond with there baby and have kangaroo cuddles as the NHS will not fund this, whilst we were there they had one on trial which we used for a week untill it was taken back and found it helped bond with Sienna so we would like to put a permanant chair there with a plaque on it saying "Siennas's chair".
