Don't have time to donate right now?
Dan Lucas was a Guerilla up to his tragic sudden death caused by undiagnosed Coronary Heart Disease exacerbated by a lifetime of suffering from Type 1 Diabetes. Every year, Guerilla Cricket plays a game in his memory, but this year, that is not possible. However, we have perhaps an even better plan. And we need your help. For every game of our exciting new Dickwella Broad Owzat Trophy, we are asking for your help to keep Guerilla Cricket running and to support the vital work of JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
JDRF fund type 1 diabetes research to improve lives and one day eradicate the condition for good.
Your generosity will ensure we can continue our incisive, interactive, revolutionary cricket commentary, broadcasting to fans around the world AND support JDRF's type 1 diabetes research to improve lives and one day eradicate the condition for good.
For every donation to Guerilla Cricket of £15 or more we receive via this page we will donate 50% to JDRF.
Who are Guerilla Cricket?
We are the independent and voluntary voice of cricket listening, reaching diverse global listeners, with primarily, though not exclusively, through non geo - blocked ‘off tube’ broadcasting over multiple internet channels.
We are ball-by-ball commentary but not as you know it. It’s ball-by-ball with your mates rather than the old boys’ club of former pros and journalists.
We cover everything from Test matches to ODIs to T20 Internationals to IPL.
Our listeners are an integral part of the show, with frequent on-air interactions through Twitter and other social channels. Yes, we’re broadcasting. But we’re also engaged in an ongoing two-way discussion. Discussion that diverges and engages, meanders yet never loses sight of the activity before us. Discussion that offers huge opportunity to promote markets as play evolves.
Then there are the jingles. Regular, short musical interludes that punctuate the commentary to introduce the players or signal moments in the game such as wickets, boundaries or landmarks. Most of our jingles are created by listeners (we have some real talent out there)
We don't have advertisers, we don't have lucrative sponsorship deals with Insert MegaBrand Here, so we need your help raising funds to cover our costs and keep providing the world's cricket fans the best possible broadcast we can.
People of the Internet, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Peace and love from GuerillaCricket.com - vive la revolution!
