I've raised £1500 to support two charities close to dB’s heart on behalf of our colleagues; EACH and MND Association

Wow, we’re actually doing this!
On 3rd March 2019, myself & 2 colleagues will be taking part in the Cambridge Half Marathon.
Are we ready? Probably not. Are we excited? Crazily yes. Will we smash it? Absolutely!
When we hit mile 10 & everyone says “only a Park Run to go” we’ll be reminding ourselves of why we’ve sacrificed our warm nights in, weekend lie-ins & the skin on our feet, as we’re doing it for two amazing charities close to dB’s heart.
EACH & MND Association are two charities supporting our staff through the most difficult times & extending the care and support to their loved ones.
East Anglia’s Childrens Hospice support families & care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk, being by their side EACH & every step of the way.
To appreciate exactly what EACH means to Steve & his family, please take time to read the below;

In recent months, the words ‘Motor Neurone Disease’ has hit dB in the most unexpected & heartbreaking way when we learn of a colleagues diagnosis.
With MND being a uncommon condition that affects the brain and nerves, it causes weakness that gets worse over time and doesn’t have a clear progressive route or timeframe for deterioration. Soon this incurable disease becomes a household name & it just highlights how quickly our life’s journey can change.
MND Association provides support in managing symptoms & day to day living with MND, as well as treatment, care and financial support.
Both charities provide vital lifelines to our colleagues and their loved one.
So, whilst we do the leg work, we invite you to please dig deep this payday & make the difference our friends and colleagues need.
All encouragement is welcome to get us over the finish line, whether it be financial or a whoop & cheer on the day - we thank you in advance for your support & generosity.
