Story

Dave Bell Foundation Vision

I want the Dave Bell Foundation (DBF) to help communities in Kenya grow through the power of football and education. By supporting the youth in the community we can empower them to grow and enable them to develop those around them.

DBF Strategy

Royhill School scholarship program - to be able to sustain 25 primary aged scholars by 2024, giving the best education possible to disadvantaged children.

Zimmerman Football scholarship program - to be able to sustain 2 football scholars to build a football hub at Royhill School and develop a football community in Zimmerman.

Achievements To Date

Funded Wailers FC for 2 seasons covering league fees and transport costs to help develop the young players. These players will be able to apply for the 2 football scholarships to build the Royhill School football hub.

Raised £3,000 for a new Royhill School Bus to help the school grow.

Funded 5 2019 scholars at Royhill School in year 1 of our scholarship program.

As of today we have £1,650 received from personal donations specifically for 2020 scholars, which is already 33% of our 2020 target of £5,000. We are currently planning our 2020 fundraisers and hope to meet the 2020 target by March 2020 so our 2021 target can be met by January 2021 and we can only do this by the continued support of so many.
