Story
This is Peggy, she is 101. Peggy has one friend who tries hard to keep her company and help her with everyday tasks. Her friend put her in touch with us and we got her info for a stairlift, grab rails, a new cooker and local activities. Peggy comes to our coffee morning now and thrashes the "young 'uns" at dominoes.
We are not funded to do this but we know there are many more people like Peggy and as yet another support service closes at the start of July, it's very important we step up and help.
To do this, we need your support.
Disability Direct Nottingham is a registered charity, 1178924, and has been set up to meet the needs of Nottingham's disabled people, carers and older people, in a fast, flexible and local way. Disability Direct Nottingham is continuing the work of Disability Direct (DD) who are ceasing to operate in Nottingham.
