I've raised £2000 to help fund a Public Access Defibrillator at Darley Dale Primary School

Defibrillators, AEDs, defibs, - whatever you call them: they save lives.
Lives of all ages, every single week.
Sadly 270 children die in the UK per year after suffering a Sudden Cardiac Arrest at school.
The newly updated Department of Education guidelines urge all schools to have a defibrillator. All new schools have one on site.
If a defibrillator is used and effective CPR is performed within 3-5 minutes of cardiac arrest, survival chances increase from 6% to 74%, which is incredible.
The Defib Store based in Tideswell have generously agreed to provide us with a high specification fully automated defibrillator plus cabinet at cost price, saving us well over £1000
We are aiming to raise the £2000 required by the end of December. This will allow us to purchase and install an external Defibrillator accessible for all the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Please help us if you can, every penny counts!
