The Deal and Walmer Chamber of Trade are trying to raise £1,000 to mirror match funding from ourselves and other benefactors for the repair, restoration and upkeep of a prominent clock that is is in our high street above Skinners Electricals shop.

We intend taking the 100 year plus old clock down (using volunteers to keep the cost down) in September 2018 and getting this repaired by a knowledgeable restorer who has kindly stepped up to do the job for a very reasonable fee.

All donations are gladly accepted to help us getting this clock working and being another reminder of what a nice and historic town that Deal really is.
