Hello everyone. I wonder if you can help me?

I need to raise £800 for a training course with the Heart of Living Yoga Foundation, A UK based educational charity. The training will enable me to help more people and their families in my local community who are struggling with mental health, stress, anxiety and other wellbeing issues. And as you all know, there is such a need, especially during these current times.

The charity supports projects in the UK to help ease child poverty and hunger, which has been on the rise for the past few years. They also run projects in Sri Lanka, India and Brazil which tackle poverty by giving the very poorest children food and education to break the poverty cycle. They also work together with Special Yoga which does amazing work both here in the UK and worldwide offering Therapeutic Yoga to children and adults with special needs, as well as their carers.

The training I have signed up for will deepen and develop my yoga and meditation skills & experience, so that I can bring a deeply therapeutic experience of mindful heart meditation to my local community, most of whom are families struggling to cope with anxiety and stress during our current times.

And now I need your help guys, to fund the course! It isn’t easy for me to ask for financial help - but when I think of all the people and their families who will benefit from this and who benefit from this charity's project work - I have decided to go for it and ask for help! Because otherwise I just won't be able to do this. All expenses will be self-funded, any money raised is just to cover the course training!

To date Yoga has been a life-line for me to cope with the demands of modern living, and it is my privilege and pleasure to be able share these much needed and empowering techniques with the local community.
