Story

This fundraiser is a request from my stepdaughter Madison who yesterday 23/02/2021 sadly lost her father Edward Martin, he passed away at 16.37 in the Royal London Hospital after a long battle with coronavirus.

Edward Martin was a Stagecoach bus driver based in Plymouth who was loaned out to Stagecoach West Ham depot in London to assist with the driver shortage in the capital. During his short spell in London he was tested positive with Covid 19 and was taken into the Royal London Hospital, he was placed into an induced coma for 3 weeks until he sadly lost his battle with the virus.

Edward was a loving dad to both his children Madison & MIchael, before he was placed into an induced coma he video called both his children to say how much he loved and missed them and that he couldn't wait to come home and see them again. He stated that the care and treatment he was receiving from all the staff at the Royal London Hospital was world class and he felt so cared for.

Edward was born on 20/12/1963 and passed away 23/02/21, he was devoted to his children and family and leaves behind 2 children. He was a much loved colleague of everyone who knew him at First/ Stagecoach in Plymouth and Torpoint and will be missed by all that knew him.

His daughter Madison has asked me to kindly set up this fundraising page to raise money for the Royal London Hospital to help them continue to give treatment, care and support to everyone in their care. This is something she wanted to do to help her cope with the heartbreak and pain that herself, family and friends are currently feeling right now.

Any donations will be so gratefully received and will be sent to the Royal London Hospital
