Young dad of two, Ryan, aged 29 was a healthy, fit and very happy family man until May 2017 when he got diagnosed with bowel cancer. He started treatment straightaway and after 3 months of chemotherapy, Ryan was given the good news that the tumor had shrunk enough to carry out the operation to try and remove as much of the cancer as possible. The "Hyperthermic intraperitoneal" operation successfully removed the cancer and he had chemotherapy to follow to remove any further bad cells that might be lingering.

Very unfortunately we were told just this week, 8 weeks after the operation that his cancer has now spread and is not just in the bowel, but has also spread to his liver and lymph nodes. Ryan's family and friends are devastated and not prepared to give up without a fight so are looking into other treatment options that could help him. The treatments are costly and they are desperately trying to raise a substantial amount of money to help fund further treatment to try and save his life, and enable him to spend more time with his family and his young children, aged just 1 and 5 years old.
