Freddie’s Mountain Climb for Kaytlin
Hi, my name is Freddie, im 8 years old and I am climbing Snowdon on the 9th March 2025 to raise money for my school friend, Kaytlin.
Kaytlin is 8 years old and one of the bravest and kindest people I know. Earlier this year, she started having really bad pain in her legs, and within days, she couldn’t walk. After going to the hospital, doctors found a tumour on her spine. She was rushed to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, where they removed the tumour and part of her spine. Tests showed that she has a type of cancer so rare that doctors have never seen it before.
Kaytlin now has a long journey ahead. She will need months—maybe even years—of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Right now, she has to wear a back brace and still can’t walk, but she’s fighting so hard every day.
I wanted to do something to help, so I decided to take on the challenge of climbing a mountain to raise money for Kaytlin and her family. She is being so strong, and I want to do something to show her that she is not alone.
Please donate if you can—every little bit will help. Let’s show Kaytlin how much love and support she has behind her!
Thank you so much! 💙
